Me: "Storm, my brushes are not things to chew on, let go.."
Storm: *I'm an angel facial expression*
Me: "Hey! Give that back!"
Storm: *Drops brush* Give what back?

Me against my 2 year old filly... lol, that habit is nearly gone, she is naturally a very curious, intelligent horse.

Me and George everytime I go to pick out his hooves, or brush him;
Me: ok brushy time!
George: hold up, I gotta sniff it and taste it first
Me: uh, you do not wanna eat the hoof pick, there's been poo in your hooves
George: or is it that you are looking after another horse? I thought I was special to you!
Me: no, I just don't want to spend all day letting you sniff it
George: I see a blonde hair, you are cheating on me with another horse!
Me: that's from Céileigh, the dog remember?
George: you got me this time.....

Everyday this happens

My horse Silky doesn't eat carrots, apples, peppermints, sugar cubes, or anything that isn't hay, grass, or grains.

Me: *holds out a carrot* Maybe today is the day you realize this isn't poison.
Silky: *sniffs carrot*
Me: yes, now eat it.
Silky: *licks carrot*
Me: Almost there..
Silky: *puts it in her mouth*
Me: good girl! I can't believe you finally--
Silky: *spits it out on me* POISOOOOOON!!!
Me: *facepalm*

My lizards-

Me- Are you ever going to eat the crickets?
Fleck- *Tilts head*
Gale- *Falls asleep*
Me- Wake. The. Hell. Up. GALE!
Gale- *wakes up, jumps on me and crawls onto my head, curls up, falls asleep in my hair*
Fleck- *ignores crickets, tries to eat Gale's tail*
Me- Sometimes, just sometimes, I do not get my lizards one bit.

My cat Charlie-
Me- Hey charlie, come meet the electrician!
Charlie- *Hides under bed*
Me- I'm serious, fat furball.
Charlie- stays under bed for half an hour*
Maisie (My other cat)- *walks past where Charlie is hiding*
Charlie- *attempts to attack Maisie*
Me- *grabs Charlie* And now we are going to meet the bloody electrician!

The quintessentail failure of cat logic:

Human goes slowly down the stairs, carrying something large and heavy.
Cat, who had been previously lying on the floor at the bottom of the stairs, chooses that moment to bolt upstairs.

More cat logic...!
I have a 3 legged feline who milks her disabled-ness majorly!!

Stitch: *excuse me human, can you pick me up so i can eat my food?*
Me: Pretty sure i just saw you climb a tree like 5 minutes ago... Yet you cant jump 30 cm to your food and water bowls?
Me: *picks her up anyway*
Stitch: *actually i don't want food right now, let me out again, human*
Me: OMG ! This is why i dont like cats...grrr *lets her out*
Stitch: 5 mins later....can you let me in again human?
Me: *opens door*
Stitch: *can you pick me up for food, human?*

It is literally like this ALL day! I love her but she has literally put me off cats forever!

On the other hand...my JRT ..

Me: *blows up balloons for party*
Ollie: *OMG no way! BALLOONS*
Me: dont even think about it, mate! *turns around for a few seconds*
Ollie: *pop..pop....pop...pop...pop*
Grr haha, he has a balloon fetish.. lol

My birds do not follow logic. At all.

Cockatiels

Mrs. Pearl: Imma gonna go lay an egg in my food dish, never mind that it's at the bottom of the cage.
Me: Look, we've gone over this before. No.
Mrs. Pearl: Yesssss...
Me: *puts in nestbox*
Mrs. Pearl: *lays another egg in food dish*
Me: ... Seriously?
Mr. Pearl: *chews on nestbox until most of it is just gone*
Me: *facepalm*

Male White: *pacing and screeching*
Me: What do you want?
Male White: Milletmilletmilletmilletmilletmillet...
Me: Ok, ok! *tosses in millet*
Male White: Actually... make that broccoli.
Me: *grumble*

Zebra Finches
Black Cheek: *building nest*
Me: Good boy, looks like you're getting it.
Black Cheek: *stops building nest and builds another one in a different location*
Me: ... Really?
Black Cheek: *starts building nests on top of nests*
Me: ...
Black Cheek: *turns all food dishes into nests*
Fawn: *refuses to lay egg anywhere except in a food dish nest*
Me: *sigh*

And here are some pictures of the Cockatiels, because why not.

Pearls (male is the one with the yellow crest on the perch)

Whiteface Lutinos (good luck figuring out which is which...)

lol my chickens are the same, they all have stated to poop in the nest box, giving up eating them >.<
Challenge accepted, is the nearest one the female? it looks like it has a slight bald patch on its shoulders, but the other one looks slightly smaller and narrower, not quite sure with birds never had one

@Merp yeah, pretty sure the closer one is the female. Oh, and you know what my pet bunny started doing with the chicken nest box? He has found a way to jump four feet up to the top of it and then takes a nap there. -,-

mhm i know in some species/breeds the female is larger, wasn't sure with small birds. xD at least you don't walk in to find your cat sleeping in a guinea pig cage, WITH a lid on... i left the top open after putting the piggies out, and i find her in there snoozing
