Koda, is a project horse. Shes 15hh. The things she needs work on is with her trot and her canter. She needs work with trailering. She loads after awhile (20 minutes) but seems afraid of the trailer. She doesn't kick or beat up the trailer when she's loaded. Koda can also be food aggressive. I have her paired with a mare right now, they're GREAT together and they share off the same food pile. She lunges (with or without a leadrope/lunge line, and will woah to a stop), ties (I can tie her in the cross ties and walk off and she just stands there), picks up her feet to be checked or cleaned, is an extremely easy catcher. She comes right to me when I call her name. I ride her around in the arena and outside at a walk. She's green broke but needs finishing. She's UTD on all shots.

Me too lol. I just sold my QH filly last month.. she was a buckskin and I finally got that color.. then had to sell her.. :/ horses are so expensive.. I've had 1 mustang and 2 QHs and within about 2 years, I had spent about $10,000 on all horse related stuff with them.. board is what really gets you...

Board wouldn't be a problem for me, as my parents and father and mother in law both own land :) I am just traveling so much with my husband and his work right now.

Lucky you ;) lol. I wish I had land... Board here for a decent stall is $250-600... You can't even find pasture Board for under $200. And that's always fun! I love travelling. Me and my hubby will be traveling here in the next few months. Moving out of state again lol.

She was captured at 4 months old from Palomino Valley, Nevada. Sold to a lady in Oregon when she was 6 months. They kept her until she was 8 years old. She was 200lbs underweight, was highly food aggressive, mean, no respect, didn't know what a halter was, head shy, etc. They moved to Hawaii and gave her to a 16 year old who did barrel racing and she helped her gain 150lbs and got her to accept a saddle but that was it. Shed never been ridden, would about rip tying posts out of the ground if tied, tear off when water came near her, would bite, and a lot more.. I bought her as my first horse. Did all her desensitizing and got her to accept being cross tied where I could leave her amd walk away and she's stand patiently, she gained all her weight back, she did great for the farrier, shed walk through water, wasn't food aggressive anymore, was an awesome horse. I was the first to get on her, then asked a trainer to put 30 days on her but the girl only did a few days a week for a month. But that horse was crazy when I first got her lol. She was 14.2 hands worth of nuts haha. She's bitten me, kicked me causing black bruises, head butted me, ran me over, stomped on me, reared at me, threw me on my back when she tore off backwards... She was a MESS. But I spent a year training her and she was amazing afterwards :) I miss her. And wish I could get her back :) I bought a mare and then a filly after her and ended up selling them. I LOVED the filly. Those two are in Tennessee and Idaho, now. The mustang is in Oregon still. But she would have to be my favorite :) and the filly haha... I want to buy another mustang off the BLM auction.. but hubby said no because they are too "scary" hahaha. But that's the fun of it. It's a challenge. And it's amazing to see how they end up :)
